Sluicing ConveyorSW - Launder Trough Conveyor |
The FSM sluicing conveyor (launder trough) is used for the hygienic, low-wear conveying of screenings. This type of conveying provides high performance combined with low operating costs. Fluming conveyors are capable of conveying longer distances than conventional mechanical converyors.
Debris is conveyed from a screening unit to the trough of the launder unit. Flush water is introduced at the end of the trough, which moves the screened debris to the wash compactor. The flush water can be drawn off by a pump behind the screening unit or taken from an industrial water supply network. An arch can be installed to protect downstream machinery from damage.
