Enviro-Care Company Relocates to Gurnee Illinois |
Gurnee, Illinois U.S.A., June 22, 2015. For over two decades Enviro-Care called Rockford, Illinois home. That all changed on May 1, 2015 when Enviro-Care officially relocated to Gurnee Illinois. When Enviro-Care outgrew its building in Rockford earlier this year, it was decided the time was right to move the entire company further east and closer to the I-94 corridor between Milwaukee and Chicago. The new address is 1570 St. Paul Avenue, Gurnee, Illinois U.S.A. The phone (815-636-8306) and fax (815-636-8302) numbers will remain the same. About Enviro-Care Company Enviro-Care Company (formerly of Rockford Illinois) is a headworks company supplying screening and solids/grit management equipment to the wastewater industry. Enviro-Care entered the market in 1972 with a line of grinders designed specifically for pump stations and CSO’s. In the 80’s, Enviro-Care added a reciprocating rake screen to their product portfolio. As North American treatment plants began to recognize the importance of headworks screening, Enviro-Care began its search for higher efficiency screening equipment. This search lead to SAVI S.r.l. of Mantova Italy. SAVI was founded in 1978 and had become a recognized leader in innovative screening equipment. SAVI and Enviro-Care formed an exclusive sales and engineering partnership to introduce their headworks screens into the North American market. In 2013, SAVI was acquired by the WAMGROUP® headquartered in Modena Italy. WAM is a multi-national company that first entered the conveying market in 1969. WAM quickly expanded into all facets of bulk solids handling equipment and today is a leader in this important industrial application with thousands of installations worldwide. Because of their conveying expertise, WAM’s conveyors found their way into many water and wastewater projects over the years. WAM’s interest in the environmental sector led began to grow over the years and led to the purchase of SAVI. WAM had their own line of wastewater screens which had been carefully undergoing value engineering. WAM was waiting for the right opportunity to launch these products. Enviro-Care represented that right opportunity. On February 1, 2015, the WAMGROUP purchased the Enviro-Care Company. Enviro-Care’s strong rep force and extensive industry knowledge gave WAM immediate entry into the North American headworks market. In turn, WAM brings to Enviro-Care the strength of a $350 mil. company with a core competence in manufacturing. On April 1, 2015 Enviro-Care was awarded the exclusive North American distribution rights for the products of FSM Frankenberger GmbH & Co. KG of Pohlheim Germany. FSM was founded in 1970 and is well respected for the design and manufacturing of mechanical water and wastewater equipment. FSM expands Enviro-Care’s capabilities with larger equipment for larger flows and offers opportunities in the water side of the market as well. Today Enviro-Care Company is the exclusive distributor in North America for SAVI S.r.l., SPECO – the wastewater division of WAMGROUP®, and FSM Frankenberger of Pohlheim Germany. |
